There was so much love for BC that he may never have felt. He brought his love and joy playing ball for Memphis and us and we loved him for it. With each injury , I felt a sadness but seeing him on the bench and sidelines with his teammates having a great time helped. You did a great job with this article. Thank you.
How do you make sense of something like this? That’s the sad part. He must have been struggling so much more than we could see and it’s a reminder that so many people are going through things we’ll never know. This was beautifully written. Thank you for sharing of yourself so honestly.
He seemed to go about his business very quietly. I never really noticed him other than the occasional crazy athletic highlight or picture of him celebrating his teammates. So nice to hear about what he meant to the team and the Memphis community. Good Canadian boy, gone far too soon.
Spot on, Molly. I am devastated. He was a good dude who Wanted to be in Memphis, Loved his teammates, and Loved his role coming off the bench. We don’t win that Minnesota Series without him, but he never tooted his own horn.
The BC Bounce was as automatic as his his Fierce finishes from Ja at the rim.
He low keyed his work in the community, but we’ll never forget.

Beautifully put, Molly. RIP BC.
Happiness problems run deep and are easily overlooked even amongst the celebrated 🌿
